•State Banquets, at Buckingham Palace.
•Private Royal dinner parties at St. James’s Palace and Blenheim Palace.
•The Royal Weddings of the Prince and Princess of Wales
(Lady Diana Spencer) and the Duke and Duchess of York
(Miss Sarah Ferguson).
•BBC World Service, Live Concert celebrating the Late Queen Mother, Queens Elizabeth’s 90th Birthday.
•The America’s Yacht Race, Freemantle Australia.
•The Lone Piper at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Edinburgh Castle, Scotland.
•The Lone Piper at the Menin Gate, Ypres, Flanders.
•Regimental Piper to the Special Air Service (SAS)
1990-1992.
•Honorary Piper to the Chavonnes Cannon Battery Museum, Cape Town 2009.
•Sergeant Piper in the Cape Town Field Artillery, Drums
and Pipes 2009.
•Hundreds, if not thousands of other events including civil weddings, christenings, banquets, special occasions, funerals and memorial services all over the world.

Only the Gordons and the CTH are known as the “Drums and Pipes”.
Perhaps you should change the manner in which you describe the Cape Field chaps.
I would have thought, that with all your world-wide experience, you would have known this anyway.

brilliant, know the joy pipers bring to the world. dads played for 60 years (still going) eldest brother a drummer other brother pipe major of george watsons college juvenile and been champion of champions for the last 6 years (i think). he also plays with boghall n bathgate grade 1, dad and eldest play with bo,ness and have done for years especially dad. got your web and info from a really good guy i work with scott mcgowan
